Paint Power Project Planner Privacy Notice

Effective upon deployment of version 1.1.0

You can view a painting estimate or download its PDF without giving a name or email. Paint Power does not automatically receive your email from your ChatGPT account.

Information processed

The Planner processes the project ZIP, room dimensions, selected surfaces, paint and conditions you provide. If you choose email delivery, it also processes your email address and optional name to send that estimate. This request is not a marketing signup.

PDF storage and retention

Download PDFs are held temporarily in application memory with random private links that expire after 15 minutes. Expired records are removed within the next minute while the server is running. Anyone with a link can download that PDF until it expires, so do not share it if you want it kept private. The application does not store a customer account or save estimates to a customer database. A server restart invalidates download links.

Email and technical information

When you request delivery, the configured email provider processes the recipient address and PDF and may retain messages and delivery records under its account settings and policies. The Planner keeps limited non-reversible request hashes and counters for up to one hour to prevent duplicate sends and abuse. The application does not write project contents, names or email addresses to logs. Hosting providers may keep technical access and security logs under their own retention settings. Paint Power does not sell this information or enroll you in marketing through this feature.

If you separately submit Paint Power's website contact form, that website's privacy policy applies. Downloading a PDF does not send a sales inquiry or book work with Paint Power.

Email delivery is optional. Request another PDF if a download link expires. For questions or requests regarding an emailed estimate or provider records, contact info@paintpower.net.

Paint Power may update this notice when the plugin's features or data practices change. The current version will remain posted at this URL.
